Circuits on emergency power circuits within impacted areas should transfer over to backup generator power as they do during our monthly emergency power tests. Sensitive equipment within impacted areas that can be shutdown and unplugged in advance should be.
If you require dry ice in preparation for this work, it is available at the Belfer Research Building receiving dock.
This shutdown is required for maintenance and service on one of our five main electrical services feeding into the 1300 York Avenue complex. Additionally, it is scheduled to coincide with NYP and Con Edison work on the same distribution network.
