Emergency Planning Overview

Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center are committed to protecting the welfare of community members, patients, intellectual property and facilities. WCMC and NYP strive to minimize the impacts of emergencies and maximize the effectiveness of the community in responding to and recovering from their inevitable occurrences. Every member of the WCMC and NYP community has a stake in this, and by working together we can be better prepared to meet the enormous challenges that emergencies bring. Doing so will provide continuity of operations, in furtherance of our triple mission of teaching, patient care, and research.

Provided on this website are some basic tools for emergency planning at WCMC, NYP, and at home.
