- Steady snow starting between 6am and 7am Sunday morning with snowfall rates and accumulation increasing rapidly throughout the late morning and early afternoon.
- Heaviest snow most likely between 11am and 7pm Sunday.
- Increasing chance of sleet after 8pm Sunday.
- Brief period of light snow on the backside of the storm Monday morning between 6am and 1pm.
- Accumulated sleet highly likely to refreeze shortly after reaching the surface due to consistently cold surface temperatures.
- Snowfall Total: High forecast confidence in at least 6 inches with 9 to 12 inches likely across the metro area. Southern portions of NYC could see slightly lower amounts with more sleet mixing in. Worst case scenario widespread 12 to 14 inches across the city, 15% chance.
